Dallas based web-hosting company C I Host today officially announced the return of co-founder Erin Bullock to the executive management team. As Executive Director of Business Development, Ms. Bullock will focus on issues concerning strategic business planning. Her main areas of focus will include brand development, policies and procedures and updating C I Host's current service portfolio.

For the past 7 years, Ms. Bullock has served on the board of directors for C I Host and pursued several successful personal projects. "Hosting has always held a special place in my interests and I've continued to read whitepapers on emerging technologies and blogs and forums," Bullock says. "Virtualization piqued my interest a couple of years ago; it was easy to recognize the significance and an offering has been in development for some time now. We're excited to unveil it in the near future."

"The biggest challenge for a hosting company is remaining relevant and being heard above the noise," says Bullock. "Differentiation and reaching a customer with a solid, developed service offering is key." Recently, C I Host launched Secu(re)Store, a comprehensive and customizable backup system which not only secures files containing vital business systems, but goes several steps further in backing up File Permissions, System State files, Registry, and SQL Databases. Bullock says, "this is just the first of many new offerings we're hoping to launch this year as we renew our focus on service and technology."

"The service gap was the main reason Chris Faulkner and I got into the hosting business," says Bullock. "We drew from our previous business experiences and agreed that we could do it better. My plan is to return our services to that model: recognizing the needs of our customers, getting them involved in voicing their needs and priorities, training our staff, and delivering superior offerings."

Chris Faulkner, founder and CEO of C I Host agrees. "We're happy to have Erin back on the team," he says. "I can't think of a better person to collaborate in this next phase of our business than a founder, particularly as we develop goals and strategies for the next ten years."

"I think our strengths complement each other," says Bullock of her partnership with Faulkner. "We have radically different personality types, but that can inspire greater creativity and problem solving." When asked if her gender plays a role in this difference, Bullock hesitates to play the gender card. "I think it's more about personality than gender" Bullock says. Still, it's significant to note that women remain a minority in the web-hosting business and Bullock is glad to have the opportunity to rejoin the growing number of women in technology.
