Manual Failover

This level provides manual failover to a second data center and requires no modification of the customer's application. The second data center can be managed by C I Host or managed by a customer. Customers will have full control to manually switch from their primary center to a geographically dispersed backup center in the event of system failure or primary center maintenance. In Manual Failover mode, the secondary backup center is NOT online until you decide to switch over.

Automatic Failover

This level provides automatic failover between redundant C I Host data centers. This solution delivers the highest level of site availability. C I Host monitors your primary center and in the event of failure or non-response, your site and infrastructure will automatically failover to the geographically dispersed backup center. This ensures your site and infrastructure are available to your customers and employees 24x7. In Automatic Failover mode, the secondary backup center IS online and is automatically routed as the primary center the second a problem is detected.
